Hooray for teachers who legitimately believe in assigning the second-most recent edition of textbooks, for I will not have to pay $180 for a brand, spanking new 9th edition Differential Equations textbook that maybe has a couple of different problems about "Sally working in a bagel shop had sixteen cupcakes..." as opposed to "Jonas is a professional wrestler who sees twelve fans cheering..." but instead only THIRTY DOLLARS for a textbook that's practically new, anyways, except for the yellow "USED" sticker on the perfectly intact spine. Ms. Reynolds (relation to a Captain Reynolds, probably) thank you for taking such good care of your book, for now it is my precious.

Most of my classes will be on Tuesday. Until then I have a few sparing moments of free time to cling to. Also, I had my most productive Sunday in a while. Filled up four pages in my sketchbook, mostly with shirtless males, I don't know if my deviantART watch list should be excited or frightened.

I posed this on deviantART but I thought I would make note of it here, too, just to cover all of my bases. Well, basically, I’ve decided to start taking commissions for the summer! (This is really just a copy-n-paste of what's in my devART journal, so sorry if it's repetitive.) Right now, I will be sending high-resolution, non-watermarked, digital copies of the piece through e-mail, as so far I don’t have a way of making prints and shipping them or originals, but if I find that people are interested in having a physical copy I will start looking into it. The only way I'm taking payment now is through Paypal.

There's a lot of things I want to read and many things I don't and sometimes I go through periods where I have a billion choices on my to-read list while other times I can't remember a single thing I ever had on that list. This often happens while I'm at the library, stupidly wandering from shelf to shelf, looking at all the FREE BOOKS, while my brain just gives me white noise instead of helpfully supplying some titles that I had stored. It's a little silly. So, to save myself some headache this summer I've decided to try and keep tract of this. If you, too, are curious, then:

I keep forgetting how much I adore reading Tsubasa. Luckily the manga's more than happy to remind me every time I pick it up again.

Well, uh, this is awkward.

I seem to be momentarily locked out of my fanfic journal. I forgot my password and haven't been getting the e-mails I requested to reset it so...this'll have to sit here for now. I'm really thinking about abandoning the whole journal because it seemed like a good idea at the time, but now it just seems pointless.

This thing's just been sitting around in Microsoft Word ever since I last wrote for 30screams, so I figured I might as well finish it up so I can move onto the other 28 prompts.

Now I'm going to go crawl off and hide under a hole until I learn how to draw and paint hands properly. This was pretty much only about the light and the color. My brain went to mush concerning everything else, from the anatomy to Leon's hair. (...the hair *sobs*)

So quick it's practically automated art post away!

I have to stop drawing things so small in my sketchbook. Experience keeps telling me that everything ends up looking crummy when I try to cram a bunch of drawings onto one page, but I keep on doing it. Bigger is totally better.

It's my firm belief that Aerith will stoop to any means necessary to de-grump her friends. This includes belching to break dramatic tension, forcing them to dress in drag, and taking them out on dates where they must win her at least one obnoxiously-sized stuffed animal that they must then carry around everywhere for the sake of chivalrous courtesy.

Oh, yeah, I've become absolutely hell-bent on getting as much emotion out of Leon's face as I can, no matter how painful it is.

I have exactly one sketch, two faces:

I luff Aerith and Leon. Aerith's my favorite FFVII character. Leon's my favorite...favorite. This is to make sure I can draw them the way I want to. Since I'm going to be drawing them, like, ninety-seven more times...Leon technically one-hundred and fifty, mmm, yummy...and all I might as well make sure I get some things straight.

Happy birthday to my sister!

It's officially Fall, now, according to my personal calender. We're throwing my sister a birthday party. I really love the fall, Halloween's one of my favorite holidays. I just love everything about it, the leaves, wearing warm clothing, apples, pumpkins, the brisk weather.

And I have more fanart for ze projecht.

I doodled this because I couldn't sleep. I tried duplicating it the next morning so it would be bigger and neater, but it didn't happen. Then I realized it looks exactly the same as that image from the logo for Final Fantasy VIII except the clingy girl is Aerith instead of Rinoa. Whoopsies.

Well, that's it. My tablet's dead. Ka-put. Ta-ta. Bye. That's all she wrote. She's pushing up daisies. No more spurts of life here. It's gone. Looong gone and climbing the stairway to Tablet Heaven. That fading yellow light that keeps spluttering is telling me that poor Tablet can't take it anymore. It's time to face the music. How many more cliches can I cram into this post? Right, my tablet is definately dead as a doornail. I could go at this all night.

It's definately not going to RISE FROM THE GRAVE anytime in the future. Drat. I think it's just time to spring for a new one. I've had this one for more than four years now. I'll just have to stop being so cheap and face the fact that I have. To buy. A new instrument. If I want to keep computer-coloring.

The plan was that I was going to start posting these in bigger groups instead of one at a time, but before I completely and utterly hate this picture with every spare fiber of my being...
